Austin Pitt

Co-founder, President and Chief Financial Officer

Austin Pitt co-founded CTGi in 2004 bringing with him over 20 years of professional, technical and managerial experience in both corporate and government information technology sectors. Prior to being with CTGi, Austin's held positions at Excelergy Corporation, PriceWaterhouseCoopers Consulting and at IBM.

While executing his responsibilities as President and CFO, Austin has helped to guide CTGi with a unique blend of strategic thinking, technological know-how, and great people skills. He has a hand in the entire lifecycle of CTGi's products and in many of its projects.

Austin holds a BS from the University of Ottawa (Canada) and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Clemson University. He moved to the Atlanta area at the turn of the century.

Steve Redekopp

Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer

Steve Redekopp is the Chief Operating Officer of Cogent Technology Group and is responsible for developing and delivering world class solutions for today's business critical needs. Effective solutions begin with a foundation based on sound software design. Steve brings 17 years of commercial application development experience in areas such as software modeling and code generation as senior engineer and project leader with Sterling Software and later Computer Associates. Steve has also successfully developed and delivered critical applications for several retailers in the deregulated Texas energy market.

Steve studied applied mathematics at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California and moved to the Atlanta area in 1995.

Andreas Hagerup

Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer

Andreas Hagerup co-founded CTGi in 2004 where, as CTO, he is the technical architect of all software developed by CTGi. His immense knowledge of modern software technologies guides the technology strategy at the corporation.

While a student at DIA (Denmark's Engineering Academy) specializing in electronics, Andreas started a part-time position at the Software Consulting firm IFM developing applications for IBM's System 36/38 and AS/400. While at IFM, Andreas developed a code-generation application for KnowledgeWare's successful ADW case tool. In 1995 he was transferred to Atlanta where he continued to develop case tools for the next five years. In 2000, Andreas switched to the energy software industry working on various CIS/Billing systems for the Texas electricity market.

Andreas' strong technical background, combined with his abiding interest in new advancements in the computer software industry, provides the basis for him to consistently architect superior products for CTGi's customers.
